2010 All-Star Cup

Dear Friends of the All Star Cup in Herndon,

Herndon Youth Soccer will be hosting the tenth annual All-Star Cup on November 20-21, 2010. Last year we hosted more than 400 teams and we expect an equally good turnout this year. The tournament is sanctioned by the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) for recreational All-Star teams who are registered with and have played during the fall season with their sponsoring club. Their sponsoring club must be affiliated with VYSA. No travel teams or travel carded players are allowed. All players must have current US Youth Soccer recreational player passes. Birth certificates and passports will NOT be accepted.

Tournament age groups are as follows:

U13	Boys/Girls	August 1, 1997
U12	Boys/Girls	August 1, 1998
U11	Boys/Girls	August 1, 1999
U10	Boys/Girls	August 1, 2000
U9	Boys/Girls	August 1, 2001
U8	Boys/Girls	August 1, 2002

Fees are as follows:

U8 - $325

U9-10 -$350

U11-U12 -$375

U13-U14-$450

U16-U19-$475

Teams will be accepted on a space-available basis upon receipt of the attached registration form and fee. Please make checks payable to Herndon Youth Soccer. Payment must accompany your application.

All registration forms MUST BE POSTMARKED BY OCTOBER 18, 2010. Applications are NOT guaranteed acceptance, however, all efforts will be made to accommodate as many teams as possible. Acceptance letters will be mailed by November 1, 2010.

Please refer to our web site www.herndonyouthsoccer.org/AllStarCup for game schedules, medical release forms, roster forms, field directions and other important information. Enclosed is a general information sheet for your reference. It should answer many of your questions.

All teams are encouraged to bring trading patches to be exchanged with the opposing team players at the end of the game.
