TOURNAMENT GENERAL INFORMATION
Each team is guaranteed three games, unless inclement weather requires the tournament to be changed or altered. Teams will be placed in competitive brackets according to their past record and level of competition. The tournament committee reserves the right to combine age groups if appropriate. Games will be played on Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th, 2010. Awards will be made to first and second place teams in each division.

GAME CARDS
The 2010 Dulles National Soccer Tournament is a game card tournament. Each team is responsible for assuring that the game card is properly filled out and returned to the site coordinator at the conclusion of each game.

TEAM APPLICATIONS
A completed application, entry fee ($550 for U-9 through U-12 and $600 for U-13 through U-19) payable to DULLES NATIONAL SOCCER TOURNAMENT or DNST and a Spring 2010 roster must be received on or before July 20, 2010. If you are a brand new team and new to travel soccer, you do not need to submit a roster. Letters of acceptance and non-acceptance will be mailed by July 25, 2010. Acceptance letters will also include additional registration information. Please see the web site for information on which roster will be used for the tournament. Any team withdrawing from the tournament after acceptance forfeits the entry fee. Refunds are not given for games canceled due to inclement weather.

TEAM ROSTERS
A team roster from the most recent soccer season (Spring 2010) must be included with your team's application. An official, state-approved roster for the Fall 2010 soccer season must be presented at tournament check-in on Friday, August 27, 2010. Three copies of your team's official, state-approved, Fall 2010 roster must be presented at tournament check-in with any guest players' names filled in. DO NOT mark guest player names on or alter your original copy of the team's official, state-approved roster document!! Since the Dulles National Soccer Tournament is a pre-season tournament, state registrars work with each accredited club to make sure each registering team's Fall 2010 roster is submitted and approved in time for the tournament.

REGISTRATION
Team registration will be held at the Tournament Headquarters from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday, August 27th. At registration, teams must provide their original, state-approved, Fall 2010 roster and three copies (all guest players must be entered on the copies of the roster that will be submitted to the tournament), 2010-2011 player passes for all players, medical release forms for each player, and a state approved Permission to Travel form if traveling outside your state.

ELIGIBILITY
This tournament is sanctioned by the Virginia Youth Soccer Association. All teams must be affiliated with and in good standing with the USYSA and their state association. This tournament is for club teams with up to 5 guest players (all guest players must be entered on the three copies of the roster you will be submitting to the tournament), league select teams, state select teams, and tournament teams. All players must have current USYSA or approved organization player passes or the appropriate national association passes. US Club Soccer Teams are also accepted.

RULES
All games are played in accordance with FIFA laws, except as modified by the tournament rules. A copy of the tournament rules will be posted on the tournament web site.

Certified referees will be used in all matches
