The HYS Hurricanes is comprised of3 rising U11 teams that playin the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS).The Hurricanes program is led by Todd Hamlin, Assistant Director of Total Futbol. Todd, who has his USSF "A" License, is primarilyresponsible for the Black team while assisting the other teams. Fadia Abu Hawa ("D" License,over 17 years of youth coaching experience)and Ricky Ramirez ("D"-licensed coachexperienced with multiple age groups andsoccer clubs)are responsible for the White and Red teams, respectively, and assist with the Black team. All 3teams arelooking to add energetic, committed, and talented soccer players as the teams expand their rosters. The Herndon Premier will be a U12 NCSL Div 3/4 team for the 2013-2014 seasonal year(DOB between August 1, 2001 and July 31, 2002). We are professionally coached by Sean Lanigan. Coach Lanigan has over 23 years experience coaching premier travel teams, including: 8 State Cup Champions, 3 Regional Champions, 1 National Semi-finalist and 1 National Finalist. His credentials include USSF "A" and USFA "A" licenses, Virginia State ODP Coach, and DC United Youth Coach (2002 National Finalist). Coach Lanigan also coaches the Westfield HS varsity boys team and was named Washington Post All Metro HS Coach of the Year two times, most recently in 2011.

Herndon Attack WAGS U12 are a rising U13 Girls for FALL 2013 will be hosting open tryouts onJune 5th at Hutchison # 1 and June, 7th, 12th, and 14th from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Hutchison Turf Field.The Attack coached by Barry Henderson ( former American University and Trinidad and Tobago National)is looking to add a couple of dedicated,hard-working andcommitted players on the field and in goal. "The Rising U-14 Herndon boys teams, FC Hawks and Inferno, will be holding joint tryouts for field players and goalies. The tryouts will be held on Tuesday May 28 from 6:30-8:00 at Hutchison Elementary Turf Field, on Thursday May 30 from 5:00-6:30 at Arrowbrook Park, and on Wednesday June 5 from 5:45-7:30 at Hutchison Grass Field #2. The Hawks are currently in 1st Place NCSL Division 3 and coached by Kurt Borel and the Inferno is an NCSL Division 4 team coached by Chris Gatz."

The Herndon Wanderers is a Girls rising U16 team playing in Division 1 of the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS).The Wanderers are professionally coached and trained by Andy Fertick.The team is interested in adding quality players who are dedicated and have the passion to play at a high level.
