My name is (your name) and I am a xxxxxxxxxx at xxxxxx High School, Ashburn, Va.  I understand you attended at least one of my games at the xxxxx Tournament.  I played with the xxxxxxxx as a guest (or whatever) player.  I was number xx, primarily playing left back and center back. 

I have researched XXXXXXX(school name) and feel it would challenge me academically and athletically.  It has the academic programs I am interested in and I am also very interested in the possibility of playing soccer at XXXXX.  I believe my skills and abilities would fit well into your program and allow me to be a vital member of the xxxxxxx team. I have been a starting (position[s]) on my H.S. varsity soccer team and Div I travel team since (year or maybe HS year).  I have played Division I club soccer for the past xxxxxx years.

I was hoping to get some feedback on whether you think I could play at the level of your team.   Do freshman and sophomores generally get playing time?  Is there scholarship money available?   Do you provide tutors for the team to help with their school work? How often do you have practice?

I will be playing in the Las Vegas (or whatever) Tournament, (date xxxxxx) with the xxxxxxxx as well as the xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.  If you will be attending another tournament  and would like to see me play, please let me know.
