Hurricane skill and determination shined despite setbacks in two games this weekend.  Throughout both games, dramatic saves by goalies Eric Meyers and Ramsey Bates kept the scores in check; but despite aggressive midfield play by Uwen Etuk and Marcus Clinton and strong passing by Beau Brady and Kenny Hansen, the Hurricanes were unable to break past the opposition.  A Saturday game assist by Jeremy Ryan resulted in a goal shot by Josh Herr; a second goal tied up the score in the first half.  Fullbacks Steven Moss and Beau Brady protected the goal while forcing the other teams into defensive positions with well-placed kicks out of the Hurricanes half.  Powerful attacks up the wing by Mike Hayden and Shomari Carter resulted in several shots on goal.
