Led by female coaches,  the Herndon Youth Soccer GIRLS camp will focus on striking/finishing and goalkeeping. The camp will focus primarily on the footwork and activities needed to be successful in and around the 18-yard box. Players will work on technique and proficiency in the attacking third of the field, striking the ball on target, proper heading technique, finishing from crosses, etc. Goalkeepers will work on ball handling including proper hand/body position, catching/saving techniques, proper footwork, diving and parrying/deflecting for uncatchable shots.
