Please join us on Wednesday, May 4, at 8:00pm for a Zoom presentation on Making a Great College Choice. The presentation will be led by Jeff Hulett--an author on the college choice experience, a leader of a non-profit dedicated to the college decision-making process that provides the app College Xoice, and a Herndon Youth Soccer member alumnus.

Making a Great College Choice

The Presentation Discusses:

  • How to leverage college soccer to get a great job!
  • How to get off to a great college start.  Do your best to be on the right side of the “Tyranny Of The Average.”
  • How the college experience is an investment in the rest of your life!
  • How to make a great college decision!  (and soccer is only part of the decision)
  • D1 v D3 – The surprising things that make D3 a great choice.
  • Do you have the study skills and desire to be successful in a 4-year college?  Community College is a smart alternative. 
  • Walk through College Xoice® as a great tool to help high school students and their families make a great college decision.

Jeff Hulett – About the Presenter:

  • Jeff curated and co-authored the article series: The College Journey and Beyond!
  • Jeff leads a non-profit organization called Definitive Social®.  We provide the college decision smart phone app College Xoice®.
  • Jeff is a former college recruiting partner for KPMG.
  • Jeff is a board member and rotating chair of a James Madison University board of advisors.

Jeff Hulett – About His Family:

  • Jeff’s family is an HYS alumni family
  • Jeff’s children won 2 Virginia 6a High School Soccer titles.
  • Jeff’s children went to the NCAAs and led perennial top 20 college teams.
  • Jeff’s children all graduated cum laude or higher from Virginia state colleges.
  • Jeff’s children are joyful and killing it with their careers.
