Programs
Herndon Youth Soccer is a non-profit, 501(c)3, youth soccer organization that provides both recreational and competitive soccer experiences for boys and girls ages 3 to 19 years old. Based in Herndon, Virginia, and the surrounding areas.
First Touch Academy
Learn More3-5 years old
Fun and engaging introductory program for our youngest players, using age-appropriate activities and games to teach basic soccer skills in a supportive, high-energy environment. First Touch focuses on building a love for the game while developing ball mastery and manipulation.
Pre-Travel Program
Learn More6-12 years old
Designed for motivatedx U7 to U10 soccer players who are preparing for the transition to competitive soccer. Focus is on developing technical skills, game understanding, and a love for the game in a fun, challenging environment.
Community "Rec" Program
Learn More6-10 years old
Provides young players with a fun, supportive, and development-focused soccer experience. Led by volunteer coaches, teams practice once or twice per week and play games on Saturdays at Hutchison Park. Emphasis on skill-building in a positive environment.
10-19 years old
Teams train once or twice per week with volunteer coaches and compete in the NCSL's Recreational division against other local clubs. Great option for those who want to continue to develop their skills in a structured league environment, while enjoying the flexibility of community soccer.
Competitive "Travel" Program
Learn More7-19 years old
Competitive, year-round program for committed players seeking advanced development and elite competition. Players compete in top leagues and tournaments locally, regionally, and nationally, with a clear developmental pathway that prepares athletes for college and professional play.
