With the FIFA World Cup arriving on home soil in 2026, we’re bringing the celebration to our community!
Join us for a month-long soccer experience that mirrors the spirit of the world’s biggest tournament — right here in our own backyard.
The 2026 Winter World Cup brings together players for a month-long celebration of soccer, sportsmanship, and community — with separate divisions for Travel and Rec players to ensure fair, competitive play.
What to Expect:
- Balanced teams built by the WWC Committee in collaboration with HYS coaches
- Requests for teammates, carpools, and family pairings considered (but not guaranteed)
- Referees from our own VYSA-certified U16+ players
- Volunteer coaches serve as team communicators — no practices, just game-day fun
- Strict zero-tolerance policy for disrespect or discrimination

Guest players
Allowed only in rare cases of multiple absences
Must be approved by the WWC Committee
No guest players allowed in semifinals or finals
