Herndon Youth Soccer (HYS) has officially opened registration for its 2026 Summer League, a six-week program built to provide players ages U4 through U19 with a dynamic and engaging soccer experience throughout the summer.

The program will run from June 22 through August 9 and will take place at Bready Park Turf Field and Hutchison Park Turf Field, offering families flexible and accessible training and game environments.  Designed with a player-first approach, the HYS Summer League provides age-appropriate programming across all levels.

Younger players in the First Touch Academy (U4–U5) will participate in fun, one-hour developmental sessions, while U6 players will combine training sessions with weekend games to introduce structured gameplay. Players in the U7–U19 age groups will experience a balanced schedule of training sessions and competitive games, supporting both skill development and match play.

“The Summer League is now an important part of our annual programming,” said Julian Chang, General Manager of Herndon Youth Soccer. “It gives players the opportunity to stay active in a fun, low-pressure environment while continuing to develop their skills and love for the game.”
