The All-Star Cup is the ultimate end-of-season showcase for top recreational players across the region. Each club selects its best to form “All-Star” teams, competing head-to-head in an action-packed weekend of exciting matches.

It’s more than a tournament — it’s a celebration of competition, community, and the love of the game. Players shine, coaches lead with pride, and families cheer every moment.



In 2025, Herndon proudly celebrates 24 years of hosting the All-Star Cup — bringing together hundreds of teams and unforgettable soccer experiences!


  • Tournament Application

    Deadline October 17


    • Clubs or individual teams may fill out the application form.
    • Form is a spreadsheet to capture club/team data and calculate payment
    • Submit form via email to: AllStarCoordinator@herndonyouthsoccer.org

  • Tournament Check-In

    • Team Rosters must be approved and signed by the Club Registrar or Club Official, not the coach. 
    • Medical Release Forms may be filled out and collected as individual forms or per team.  Samples of both forms are provided on via links to the right on this page.
    • Team Roster and Medical Release forms must be turned in either at the in-person Tournament Registration session or submitted electronically. There is no check in the day of the Tournament.
    • Electronic registrations will be completed by Saturday, November 8th.
    • There will be an in-person registration session for coaches who need to register in-person. Date will be set in the near future.
  • Group Formats

    U8 AGE GROUP FORMAT: 


    U8 teams play 7 mini games (games are 25 minutes) in a round-robin format. No standings are kept for U8. Every U8 player receives a special participation award – no trophies are awarded in this age group.


    U9-U19 AGE GROUP FORMAT: 


    Each team in the U9-U19 age groups will play a qualification round consisting of four 25-minute games. At the end of each game the winning and losing teams will be award game points. The game points will be used to seed the teams for the championship rounds. All teams will proceed to the championship round on Sunday, consisting of 50 or 60 minute games. At the conclusion of the championship rounds in the U9-U19 age groups, awards will be provided to the players for both division champions and finalists.

    ROSTER SIZE: 


    Teams are limited to 8 players in the U8 age group, 14 players in the U9-U10 age group, 16 players in the U11-U12 age group and 18 players in the U13-U19 age groups.
